EU Conference on the rules for classification, labelling and packaging of chemicals.

In June 2009 the European Commission are staging a conference aimed at informing authorities, industry and other stakeholders of the provisions under CLP.

Aimed at individuals with a central role in the implementation of CLP regulation and with a limit of 400 places applicants for registration will be accepted on eligibility grounds. The conference will cover key aspects of the legislation, practical guidance and discuss the context of CLP within both the UN global harmonisation system (GHS) and REACH.

 

Interested parties who are unable to attend the event in Brussels will be able to watch a live webcam of the conference. More information and registration details can be found on the European Commission website.
